The Blade, Hilkenses' 62nd! John G. Hilkens and Nancy E. (Gatter) Hilkens celebrated their 62nd anniversary on August 16, 2014. They were married at St. Agnes in 1952. They are proud parents of 3 children, Richard Hilkens, Connie (Achille) Buzzelli and William Arthur Hilkens (deceased) along with 3 grandchildren, Carrie (Eric) Goebel, Tim Perry and Cami Buzzelli. They also have 2 great-grandchildren, Jayson and Justyn Goebel. John retired as Vice President after 49 years at Shrader Tire and Oil Company. The couple enjoys traveling and the company of their many family members and friends.
