The Blade, Badens' 50th On a crisp, clear, December 6th, a half century ago, Cassandra Schalow and Larry David Baden were married in a candlelight ceremony at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Toledo, with Pastor Thomas Ledfern officiating. They have two sons, Lane (deceased) and Drew (Mary) of Waterville and they are grandparents to Cassidy, Liam, Brenna and Janeal. Larry retired as a 30-year Social Studies teacher at Scott and Woodward High Schools. Cassie retired from a career at Toledo Edison as an Executive Secretary.
