The Blade, Pollaufs' 60th Fred and Mary Jewele (Stammen) Pollauf married on September 20, 1953. They met in German class at Central Catholic High School and married in Texas while Fred was in the Army. The couple have five great children: Jeff, Neil (Kim), Joyce (Don), Laura (Dan) and Sharon (John). They have eight wonderful grandchildren: Andrew, Kevin, Haley, Jessica, Miranda, Joel, Jeremy and Carly. The whole family still lives in the area. A party was held with family and friends to celebrate the occasion.
