The Blade, Happy 60th Anniversary! Herlichen Glückwunsch zum 60. Hochzeitstag! Martha and Dick Garbers are celebrating their 60th anniversary. Dick was born in Schneverdingen, Germany and came to Toledo in 1954 where he met Martha. They were married on May 4, 1956 at East Toledo Christian Church. On a recent cruise with their 5 children, they celebrated their love, heritage and 60 years together.
