The Blade, Richard & Suzanne Emch 60th Wedding Anniversary When Richard and Suzanne Emch became sweethearts at DeVilbiss High School, they couldnt imagine that theyd one day be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. On April 4, they will do just that, recalling their marriage in 1956 at Monroe Street United Methodist Church and all the wonderful years that followed. They were truly blessed to have found each other, and their four sons, Brian, Gregg (Kelly), Dale (Kim), and David (Sharon), were blessed to have been raised in a warm, loving home where their parents set an example of what a marriage should be. Dick and Sue are fortunate to have five grandchildren: Matthew, Henry, Claire, Chloe, and Gabrielle, (as well as more than a few grand dogs over the years). Dick and Sue are both enjoying a happy and healthy retirement. Dick had a successful career as a patent attorney in Toledo, while Sue was a dedicated school teacher, working mostly with kindergarteners in the Sylvania School District. Sue and Dick will celebrate their 60th anniversary with family and friends this summer at their cottage in the Irish Hills. As published in The Blade.
