The Blade, HAWLEYS' 50th John and Kathleen were married 50 years ago on August 14, 1965 at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. They celebrated with a Mass on August 14, 2015 at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. Both are original 59-year church members. Both grew up in Toledo. They have lived in Maumee for 50 years. They have two daughters: Maryann (Don) of Bowling Green, Ohio; and Lisa (Ray) of southern California; and two granddaughters: Madison and Makala of southern California. The Hawleys have visited with family in southern California.
