The Blade, Recknagels' 50th! Ron and Mary were married on June 5, 1965, in the Lutheran Church of the Master, Perrysburg, Ohio by Rev. Philip E. Nieft. The Recknagels have two children, Ron (Jane) and Kim (Mark Nagel) and three grandchildren, Samantha, DJ, and Jimmy. They also have granddog,s, Frank, Daisy, and Crockett. Ron served a Tool & Die apprenticeship at Jeep in 1964 and then retired from GM Powertrain in 2006. Mary began her career as a hair dresser in 1962 and worked at Burton's, John Robert's, and Snip Hair Salons and retired in 2009. The whole family will be celebrating their anniversary on June 6th at Ron and Jane's house with the wedding party and again with the family at the Wisconsin Dells in July.
