The Blade, Pershings' 50th! Golden Wedding Anniversary Robert "Buzz" and Joan "Jody" (Rowan) Pershing were married May 1, 1965, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio. It was followed by a sit-down breakfast and an evening reception at the old Miracle Mile Ballroom. They have been blessed with three children, Natalie, Thomas and Jennifer; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A family celebration is planned.
