The Blade, Bakers' 60th! Charles and Anne Baker of Lake Forest, Illinois celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married at St. Matthew's Catholic Church on February 19, 1955, in Flint, Michigan. Mr. Baker was born in Flint and Mrs. Baker is the former Anne St. Locke of London, England. They met in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Baker were residents of Sylvania, Ohio for 41 years. They have five children: two sons, Andrew Baker of Holland, Ohio, and Stephen Baker of Alexandria, Virginia, and three daughters, Anne Johnson of Vincent, Ohio, Jane DiGrandi of Powell, Ohio and Barbara Ankenman of Lake Bluff, Illinois. They also have 9 grandchildren. Mr. Baker took part in the Honor Flight in October, 2013 for his volunteer service in the Air Force during World War II.
