The Blade, Kessler's 65th Eugene and Harriet (Anway) Kessler were married October 15, 1949, at St. Aloysius Church Republic, Ohio. They are the parents of Sandra (Richard) Widders and Sharon (Richard) Reucher. They have four grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Craig, Matthew (Kelly Ann) Widders, Ricky (Allie) Reucher and Kelly (James) Brennan. They also have four great-grandchildren. Eugene retired with 30 years of service as Manager of the Toledo District for the Ohio Department of Taxation. Harriet was a bookkeeper for several businesses during her career. They have enjoyed spending their retirement years traveling and golfing between Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Toledo. The Kessler's celebrated with a family dinner.
