The Blade, Desmond ~ Schorr Mr. and Mrs. Patrick and Elizabeth Desmond of Toledo and Dr. Michael Schorr of Modesto, California are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Danielle Marie and Joshua David. Miss Desmond is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Academy. She is the Entertainment and Special Events Manager at Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Dr. Schorr is a graduate of Johansen High School in Modesto, CA, a 2005 graduate of UC Davis, and 2009 graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. The couple met while Dr. Schorr was in his residency program at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Schorr is an Emergency Room Physician for Fremont Emergency Services in Las Vegas, Nevada. An April 2015 wedding is planned at Toledo Club.
