The Blade, Joneses' 65th! Lester F. Jones and Dorothy M. Davis were married on July 2, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, OH. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family at a dinner party. In attendance was son, Jeff (Paula) Jones of Maumee and daughter, Cindy (Zig) Wierzbicki of Monclova. They have 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren: Josh (Deidre) Jones of Perrysburg and their children, Noah and Madeline; John (Polly) Wierzbicki of Adrian, MI and their children, Dom Carson, Leyna and Zofie; Olivia (Larry) Twigg of Maumee and their child, Hunter; Lisa (John) Heslop of Bryan, OH. Lester retired from Champion Spark Plug in Toledo, OH where he worked in research and development. Dorothy enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. In their retirement years they have done much traveling and spent many winters in Venice, FL. They have resided in Maumee the past 65 years.
