The Blade, Tallarico 50th Anniversary Pat and JoAnn Tallarico of Perrysburg, OH, observed their 50th Wedding Anniversary on September 5, 2014, with a weekend of celebration with family followed by extensive travel. The couple met while teaching together at Winfield Elementary School in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and were later married in 1964 at St. Monica's Church in Wampum, Pennsylvania. They spent their early years together in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and Kansas before settling in Bowling Green, Ohio, in 1978. In Bowling Green, Dr. Tallarico served as an administrator and professor at Bowling Green State University while Mrs. Tallarico taught elementary school at St. Aloysius School. The couple later moved to Perrysburg where Dr. Tallarico continued in his administrative and teaching role at BGSU until he retired in 2001. Mrs. Tallarico went on to become Principal at Franciscan Academy in Sylvania before she retired in 2004. The couple has touched thousands of lives through their work as educators and continue to find adventure through travel and the arts. They are looking forward to continuing their journey with love and laughter. Dr. and Mrs. Tallarico are the proud parents of two children, Heather (Mark) Radwanski (Rossford) and Patrick Tallarico (Virginia) and three grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew and Hannah Radwanski.
