The Blade, Michaelis' 50th Arthur A. and Brenda A. (Lehman) Michaelis were married June 20, 1964, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wauseon, Ohio, by Pastor Loyal Bishop of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, Ohio. Art, formerly of Tontogany, Ohio is a retired Washington Local Schools elementary principal, having served 36 1/2 years in education. Brenda, formerly of Wauseon, is also retired from teaching. The couple has three wonderful children, Todd, Craig (Heidi), and Sara Michaelis. They have also been blessed with five grandchildren, Tarah, Trevor, Caitlin, Grant, and Maddie Michaelis. The family will celebrate with a dinner later this summer.
