The Blade, Irons' 50th Chuck & Marie Irons of South Toledo, recently celebrated their Golden Anniversary with family and friends. Married May 16, 1964 by a Justice of the Peace in Monroe, MI. Chuck and Marie raised six children, and have been blessed with 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Chuck is a retired railroad engineer. Marie is a retired secretary from Lucas County Sheriff's Dept. and the Catholic Diocese of Toledo. In the Irons tradition, family remains the most important gift, and they have enjoyed traveling to visit their children and grandchildren.
