The Blade, Hoyt's 47th! Jim and Karen Hoyt, 47 years ago on April 8th, 1967, eloped and were married inside of First Methodist Church in Angola, Indiana. Upon returning to their home town of Toledo, Ohio that same evening, they would happily announce their big news to friends and family while attending what was then known as "The Demons Ball" (Maumee Demons Drum and Bugle Corps). Here they would dance the night away in celebration of becoming husband and wife. They are the proud parents of Keith (Brenda) Hoyt, Stacy (Denny) Pombier. Grandchildren Sydney, Denny and Amy.
