The Blade, Geises' 50th Anniversary! Larry and Bonita Geis were married on February 15, 1964. Larry started work at The Toledo Blade at the young age of 17 as a machine repairman. He retired 45 years later as Plant Manager. Both of us received college degrees during our marriage while raising two children, Lisa and Tony. Now, we have four grandchildren. We celebrated with a trip to Aruba and Curacao. Upon returning home, we also celebrated with our family and friends. Our love for one another just keeps getting stronger as we grow older.
