The Blade, Hites' 50th! Richard and Barbara (Karr) Hite were married on February 15, 1964 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Delta, Ohio. They are the parents of Jeffrey Hite (Leslie) and Wendy Pilkington (Ron). They have 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Richard retired in 2000, after 36 years in research and development with the Libbey-Owens-Ford Company in Toledo. Barbara retired in 2004, after 26 years as a secretary and administrative assistant with the Pike-Delta-York Local School District. They will spend their 50th anniversary enjoying time at their Bradenton, Florida condo and will celebrate with a family dinner in the spring.
