The Blade, Davolls' 65th Richard and Betty Davoll celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary March 20, 2013. Richard Howard Davoll and Betty Lou Moore met through mutual friends and were married on March 20, 1948, by the Justice of the Peace in Sylvania, OH. Mr. and Mrs. Davoll are lifelong residents of Sylvania, OH. "Dick" worked as a machinist for Doeler-Jarvis for 42 years and Betty was the "CFO" of Domestic Adventures in the Davoll household. Their six daughters, Marcia (Thomas) Steele of Sylvania, OH, Charlotte Kruczkowski of Sylvania, OH, Christine (Burton) Porter of Maumee, OH, Susan DuShane of Toledo, OH, Karen (Mark) Reese of Toledo, OH and Ruth (Dale) Gudex of Kiel, WI have blessed them with 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Their extended family includes sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. An anniversary dinner with family and relatives was held at Ventura's Restaurant on March 20, 2013.
